The Fast for the Glory of God
During our fast our focus will address three concerns;
  1. Learning to honor God and His Word.
  2. Strengthening our faith and using Faith correctly.
  3. Understanding how to purify our heart to hear God correctly.

Fasting Menu and Schedule
Week 1: February 8 - 14, 2010 Three meals per day Meals may consist of non-fried meats and vegetables. You may eat cereals that do not have excess sugars (such as Frosted Flakes) but no other breads or sweets (cookies, cakes, candies or pies, etc.). Watch out for vegetables with high sugar content; beets, carrots and starches. No Sodas or caffeine. Drink natural juices.

Week 2: February 15 - 21, 2010 Two meals per day Only one meal may contain a meat. However, NO fried foods. Vegetables should be steamed or broiled, not fried; this includes stir-fry. Again, no sweets, soadas or caffeine; juices are permitted

Week 3: February 22 - 25, 2010 One meal per day No meats! Only vegetables. YOU CAN DO IT!

Week 4: February 26 - 28, 2010 Water and Juice We are now in the water and juice fast. Watch juices with strong acidic values. Stay strong in the Lord an power of his might Eph 6:10.

Suggested Prayer Schedule
Let me suggest that you spend at least 1 hour a day in prayer. Here is a helpful prayer shedule
6am or Earlier 30 Minutes
9am 10 Minutes or more
12 Noon 15 Minutes or more
3pm 10 Minutes or more

Study Time
I mentioned earlier, I would like to focus on three areas during the fast as our study. Please look over the suggested scriptures as a study focus.
