You
Got the Power
(Part 1)
A few years ago there was a very
popular song entitled, "I Got The
Power". This is a phrase I believe
every saint ought to confess. It
will be your understanding of power
that will give you the results you
seek in bringing forth
manifestation.
It must also be understood that God
is ready for the Body of Christ to
reveal its glory to this world.
This, however, cannot be done if the
church operates powerless. God uses
His power to demonstrate His Glory;
it is only then that His Kingdom is
built.
In 1 Chronicles, we see David is a
king which means he had power and
authority. David accomplished much
in his life. He slained a bear, a
lion and a giant. He also took 400
men and trained them to be the
world's greatest army of its time.
Yet, David knew and understood that
all power, both in heaven and earth,
comes from God. David knew this and
was not ashamed to profess and bless
God Almighty before his entire
congregation. David was great and
powerful because of God.
If we do not have any power, we
cannot accomplish anything. What we
must do is come to an understanding
of power and how to use it. The
definition of power is the
capacity or ability to do something
of accomplishment. Power is
your ability to do work.

Scripture
Reading--1 Chronicles 29:10-13
10 Wherefore
David blessed the LORD before
all the congregation: and David
said, Blessed be thou, LORD God
of Israel our father, for ever
and ever. 11 Thine, O LORD is
the greatness, and the power,
and the glory, and the victory,
and the majesty: for all that is
in the heaven and in the earth
is thine; thine is the kingdom,
O LORD, and thou art exalted as
head above all. 12 Both riches
and honour come of thee, and
thou reignest over all; and in
thine hand is power and might;
and in thine hand it is to make
great, and to give strength unto
all. 13 Now therefore, our God,
we thank thee, and praise thy
glorious name.
"People who do little work
have little power. People who do great work
have great power."
Which one are you? We will continue this
discussion next week.
