 The
Natural Man vs. the Super-Natural Man
Growing up, I loved comic books. My
favorite was the Man of Steel:
Superman. Comic book heroes always
had supernatural powers. I knew I
needed my own.
I remember getting one of my
Mother's towels and tying it around my
neck and running down the street saying,
"I'm Mystic Man." Able to leap an
apartment building in a leap and a
bounce! Faster than a run-away grocery
buggy from Piggly-Wiggly! Look up, on
the roof, it's a pigeon, no, it's a
frisbee, no, it's Mystic Man.
Wouldn't it be great if we could all
transform like that. Well, guess what?
We can. It starts with accepting Jesus
Christ and allowing the Holy Spirit to
come into your life. Once you do that,
He brings His supernatural abilities to
live on the inside of you. You see, we
live in a world full of stress, gripped
with fear; but you can have security and
peace like never before when you accept
Jesus into your life. He puts on your
natural, "super"!
