Sharing
Christ With Others--Sometimes
I get so overjoyed about the
wonderfulness of God the Father,
Jesus Christ, God's Son, my Lord and
Savior and the Sweet Holy Ghost (the
administrator over every spiritual
gift in my life), I just want to
shout it to all so they can
come, taste and see that our God is
an awesome God. But there are times
when I do share, especially with
those I love (family and friends)
and they look at me as if to say,
"Don't give me the sales pitch, I
remember when [and this is where you
insert your own story]."
I have learned that nobody will turn
down Jesus if they could see what He
really offers them. I have
also learned that in order for some
people to receive Jesus, it must
come from someone they look up to.
When things (information,
revelation) come from a higher
source, it is more easily received
than from those who we see as an
equal or beneath us.
Every young boy loves to play with
Hot Wheels. I did, as well as my
son. The key was to elevate the top
end of the track so that the person
at the other end could receive the
car and send it back. That same
principal must be used in sharing
Christ. We must pray the right
people in a person's life that they
look up to, respect and can receive
from. Then pray that God will use
that person to deliver the
revelation of who His Son is. I
know this works. Again, no one
turns down Jesus if they could see
what He offers.
